Our Story
L’ Association Vive La Vie! was officially incorporated on November 25, 2019, under its own Letters Patent, marking the beginning of a mission rooted in solidarity, inclusion, and community well-being.
From its inception, the organization has been guided by a diverse and committed founding board, bringing together expertise in social sciences, the arts, and community engagement. This multidisciplinary foundation reflects the Association’s holistic and human-centered approach.
Our Mission
As outlined in its Charter and Supplementary Letters Patent, L’ Association Vive La Vie! is dedicated to:
-
Defending and promoting the rights and interests of its members, through training, advocacy, and collaboration with institutions and community partners.
-
Supporting vulnerable populations, including women, immigrants, low-income individuals, seniors, and single-parent and blended families.
Our Commitment
L’ Association Vive La Vie! works to address the physical and psychosocial needs of the community by offering:
-
Information services
-
Support and guidance
-
Referral to appropriate community and institutional resources
The organization serves members of the Quebec community, particularly residents of Greater Montreal from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds, with special attention to allophone and anglophone populations.
At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful objective: to enhance quality of life by fostering inclusion, empowerment, and collective well-being.
Our Logo
The logo concept was created and designed by two of the three founders
of Vive La Vie! At its core is a heart divided into two distinct colors, joined
seamlessly at the base.
The two sides complement one another, forming a single, continuous line
that represents solidarity, cooperation, and coexistence, as well as social inclusion
and equality for all.
The design was inspired by our commitment to contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world. We aim to mobilize and empower individuals, organizations, and communities through knowledge sharing, solidarity, and collective action.
The heart symbolizes the idea that solidarity and collaboration are the foundations of well-being-for individuals, groups, systems, and society as a whole.
Special attention was also given to the connection between the two sections of the logo. This connection reflects our intention to place well-being at the center of the social system. It highlights that meaningful progress depends on collaboration among all essential stakeholders. At the same time, it emphasizes that individuals share responsibility for their own well-being-as active partners, participants, and beneficiaries engaged in decisions that shape their lives.
